Hot off the press....

1st January 2009

What a great night - rocking new year party!! Thanks to all who came along and celebrated with us until well past 1am. A big thank you to Mike and Zena at The Kings Arms for looking after us all so well. It was so good that we are booked to do it all again next year! Bourbon and Ice would like to thank all those regulars who kept coming through 2008 and wish everyone a Happy New Year for 2009. Keep on tasting the Bourbon....

22nd October 08

Bourbon and Ice have started recording their first studio album. The first day in the studio went very well, with the majority of 3 tracks laid down, including the new song "Natural Stone". More sessions will follow through the next couple of months and hopefully the album will be ready for Spring 2009. We are now looking forward to our next gig at The Penrudukke, Dinton. We expect a good Halloween fancy dress turn out, so all you whitches and gouls get yourselves down there on the evening of Sat 1st November.

24th August 08

The band have taken a few weeks off for summer holidays, but are starting rehearsals soon for the first studio session to record their first album.

21st July 08

The band played a double gig on Saturday. 1st was the Gillingham festival which was a great venue to play and then at The Penrudocke, Dinton at night. Both gigs were great fun and great atmosphere. By the end of the night we were very tired but very happy!! Thanks again to all the regular fans for their support.

Extra news: The band have finally got around to booking into a recording studio in October to start recording an Album of our own songs (yes I know we've been asked for ages, but we are getting there slowly). If all goes well we might have it finished around Christmas/New Year.

16th June 08

What a night!!  Saturday's gig at the Kings Arms was a great success. A packed pub, rocking music, loads of dancing and quite a few drinks. We all really enjoyed it, Can't wait for the next time!!

15th March 08

After a bit of a break, and a quick gig in Ireland, it was good to be back in Dorset to play at The Wyndham Arms, Dinton tonight. It was certainly a lively gig with a very enthusiastic crowd. Thanks to all who came along.

19th Oct 2007

The band had a great time tonight. Just played at The Plough, Manston. Fancy dress was the order of the night with guests as diverse as Jesus, Naughty Vicars, Noddy Holder (from Slade) and Francis Rossi (from Status Quo), and  a few "ladies of the night"!!  The evening continued late after the gig with acoustic songs from Pete (singer bloke) and his brother Stewart (guest  bloke from Ireland). Thanks to Ellody and co for the food and hospitality. We wish Big Bird Chris and Tom a very happy birthday form Bourbon & Ice!!!

19th August 2007

Chris, our back up drummer has agreed to step in full time. That's great news. It's always hard to find a good drummer, and Chris is one of the best!

18th August 2007

The band would like to wish Paddy, our charismatic drummer of many a gig past all the best for the future. He is moving on to pastures new after a new job offer. Thanks for some great fun times Paddy!!
