Koostix are the acoustic version of Bourbon & Ice - consisting of two, sometimes three acoustic guitars and an electric bass. They cover material by the likes of Paul Weller, Joe Cocker, The Kinks, The Stones as well as their own material.

There are moves afoot to introduce a few new songs to the established Koostix set - included amongst these are 'Love in Vain' by Jagger/Richards and the immortal 'Layla' made legendary by Eric Clapton and colleagues (for background info, follow this Wikipedia link).

A brand new original Koostix track is being worked on at the moment entitled 'Dreammaker' penned by Pete. The band hope to perform some time in March once it has 'settled down' a bit.

Just to say a huge 'thank you' to Joe and Sally at Ye Olde Two Brewers for getting music going again down the bottom of Gold Hill once again. A whole weekend of live music and no entrance fee - how cool is that!
